Hi Cuz! I'm so sorry you were subjected to the indignity of the V E T. So glad it's all OK, though, but whassis toofbrush?

Anyway, it looks like you're having a comfy nap and you look great, so I won't disturb you any further. SHHH!

Yay, a happy and healthy Eve - that's good news! I bought a packet of childrens tootbrushes for Fister and started brushing his gums years ago, I really think it helped. He soon got used to it and expected me to do it every day. So it's great advice the vet gave you. Give Eve some kisses from me.

Hello, beautiful Eve! I'm glad you are healthy! Thank you for the tip about breast cancer -- Cassie did have kittens before I adopted her, so I'll make sure the vet knows that at our next visit. What a peaceful place you have for your nap!

Dearest Eve, you are just gorgeous! And you look so comfy tucked in under your blankie!

It's so great, if you had to be subjected to the indignity of an EXAM, that you have such a good report from your V E T and you are happy and healthy! We are going to pass the tips he gave your Meowmie along to our Meowmie.

Eve, I'm so glad to hear that your vet visit went well and that you're a very healthy girl. I had heard about using baby toothbrushes but not about brushing gums for about 10 seconds with water every day. I did know that even if a female cat or dog goes into heat, that his will increase their chances of getting breast cancer.

Thank you for all your sweet thoughts. Despite getting her shot today, which is supposed to make her sleepy, Eve is tearing around like a kitten, looking for treats and generally voicing her many opinions to whomever will listen. That's my girl.

KAK massaging their gums with the baby brush helps to manage gingivitis -just like us humans. My vet's wife is a dental specialist and she insists on doing this with their own cats daily and it works!! I am willing to try this as I have had gum surgery (not fun!) and since I have been brushing/massaging my gums regularly with an electric toothbrush, the problem is totally under control.
