I had to revive this subject because of todays "big story"

Frankly, I was perfectly fine not knowing where Tamerlan Tsarnaev was buried. Why the big push to get the news out and cause more fuss because of the humanity of someone who decided the right thing to do was to provide a burial plot for him?

Why is this such huge news? He's dead. Bury him, and be done with it.

There was a 'man on the street interview' with a woman who stated, "He's dead and we can't do anything to him, bury him and let's move on..."

    I agree.

Maybe a 'burial at see' would have been a little more apropo seeing the problems that may arise because of his burial?

I found it somewhat morbidly amusing that a local (to Boston) radio host was sounding like an absolute neanderthal n this particular issue. (we get one of the Boston stations out here after dark).

Bury him, move on. Should have been at either the Dix or Devens prison cemeteries in an unmarked grave. by dragging this out they're giving the bastard more publicity than he should get.

I stand by my opinion that perps in crimes like this shouldn't even be identified by name in the media, instead referred to as idiot #XYZ.

It was ultimately up to his family, no one else, as to where and how he would be buried. I just didn't care, or need to know where his body is interred. And I doubt most Boston-area folks really don't care either! Let's focus on the survivors, thanks!

Karen, I for one DO want to know where he's buried. The reason? They were offering him a plot in a cemetary here in Ohio where my sister's husband is buried and she too eventually will be buried! My SILs mother (and her father to follow) is buried there also. They were both outraged and upset.
I know, Christian thing to do and all that, but when it comes to thinking your body or that of a loved one might be buried next to him I think people have a right to know if they're buying plots in a 'terrorist' cemetary.

Just got back from the cemetary a few minutes ago.

    --------------

Sunday afternoons are the best time to go. It's really quiet -the weather was cool and windy - and ALL all the flowers are kinda neat to see.

On the way home the subject of "where are you going to end up?" was discussed and it always ends in the "Why would I care, I'm dead...." answer.

    -----------------

The one thing about burying this moron here in the States is the fact that we can.

I look at it as an F U to the parents for not claiming the body and the idiots who thought what these two did was O.K........

In any other country - had you gone and pulled off any kind of a terrorist act - people would be hard pressed to find enough of you to bury.

This is what separates us from the rest of the world?

As long as folks (including PT'ers) keep talking about this S.O.B, then he continues to live on. He's dead!!!! His name and evil acts need to be buried, just as he is. It serves no purpose whatsoever to continue to talk about him.

    JMHO of course............
