Thank you all for your kind words, they have brought me much comfort. Things are getting a little better, I was hit with one of the worst colds of my life at the same time as Ming's passing. To put it bluntly, I was a mess! I have definitely received signs that Ming is looking out for us and has visited us, so that was good. About 2 nights before he passed, I was petting Ming on the bed and thinking how nice it would be if I could afford some ham. I don't know why I thought that, but I really wanted to taste some ham and money has been too tight to afford that. We are eating fine, just not able to afford things like steak or ham. Friday night, one of the neighbors in our building gave us a ham and other groceries, they said they had too much and would I like some. Could this have been Ming? Last night, I came home from work and found about 8 lbs of sliced ham outside my door. Coincidence? Maybe, but I don't think so.

Yes, I think it was Ming that made your neighbor bring you the ham that you were craving.

I'm so sorry to hear that your handsome Meezer Ming has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.
I know he was a very special Meezer boy and he enjoyed a wonderful life with you.
