I totally agree with you on older kitties, my Seal Point Siamese Koko just celebrated his 18th birthday on April 10! He, like your sweet cat, has had his old age issues, and I almost lost him in December, but he has seen me through many family deaths and other issues, and I can't imagine him not in my life. I have had him since 6 wks of age, so we have been through a lot together also. Keep on being such a good nursemaid to your precious Kahlua and just love her for as long as you are able to be together. I know she will always be in your heart, too.
