For sure Slick, that was Merlin letting you know he is ok. He was probably not only thanking you for your love and care, he was checking up on you. Love never dies. It just changes form.
No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!

Did not sleep much last night. Kept second guessing myself and someone today commented that I will have to change my phone outgoing message as it's no longer "Merlin's private line." I think it will be some time before I can do that.My spare bedroom looks so empty without both litter boxes. My local shelters are screaming for foster homes but I remind myself that I'm not ready yet - can't help but look though.
Thank you again everyone for your love and prayers. I know that almost all of you have experienced the pain of losing a precious pet. That's what makes PT so special.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Slick. And I'm happy that Merlin let you know he is okay
Our Henry, who went to the bridge 10 years ago, still passes through once in awhile - just to let us know he hasn't forgotten us.
