    Doing the right thing is devastating. I can hardly imagine the hole Merlin has left.

    My heart breaks for you, but you did everything with Merlin's best interest at heart every minute he was with you. Let those happier memories stay with you and help you heal. Many thoughts are with you at this terrible time.

    I bet he is nearly there now. Think about all the other special PetTalk kitties and dogs that will be there to greet him. Hugs to you Slick. I hope your heart heals quickly.
