Bandit is recovering wonderfully and will be getting his sutures out on Monday. Unfortunately, he has alienated Shiloh and Killian by being toy dominent and going after Shiloh twice and Killian (my poor baby, who BTW was very surprised that it happened) once. I stopped him, took the toy away and that was that. Now they can not have toys when Bandit is around. Other than that, 95% of the time everything is ok. I have decided that a two dog household is perfect and we will not be adopting Bandit. It would be too stressful to leave them home alone under those circumstances. Someone has been waiting for my decision, so now he will be able to meet Bandit. I will miss him terribly and I sure wish he would play nice with other dogs so we could have kept him, but that was not to be.
He and Shiloh are both too much the same in playing with toys, so the competition would be too much. Right now Bandit and Shiloh are sleeping near each other, that's no problem. After Bandit leaves, I will probably be taking a fostering break for a little while.
