The ringworm is highly contagious. On the farm we have the veterinary come & give the cattle shots for it. Maybe their is a cream or pill, something you could get from a veterinary to put on Clover if the spot is ringworm? With cattle they give shots because it would be hard to apply anything by hand because they aren't tame like cats, dogs, humans, etc.
