Oh, be still my heart!! What a precious, simply beautiful pony you are, Penny! I just love your long, wavy coat and your beautiful copper coloring! But it's that sweet, sweet face of yours, those HUGE, love filled brown eyes that sent me into heart melt mode!

I'm sorry to hear about your recent health issues, Penny; Lyme disease is NO fun! But by all accounts (including that great pic of you pulling that board and the kids), it's clear your health challenges haven't kept you from enjoying every minute of your wonderful life to the max! How lucky you were to have been chosen by your family to be their very own, Penny, and how lucky are they (especially your *special person*), having a beautiful best friend in you! You even helped your human to overcome her fear of horses! Add "healer" to your long list of accolades! Oh, mustn't forget your "Houdini" skills! That story of you galloping back to the pasture, locking the gate and hiding behind the feeder before your Dad realized you had escaped had me laughing out loud! What a mischievous AND smart girl you are!

Penny what a beautiful and happy looking girl you are!!!

I loved your pictures, specially the close up ones. I see that twinkle in your eyes and happy smile on your face. You look like you know a fun secret but are not ablout to tell what it is!!! I bet that was the look you had when you went back inside after opening the gate and then hid thinking you had pulled a fast one on your humans. What a treasure you are. You certainly made me smile today. Please thank them for sharing you with us. I hope you are having a wonderfully happy day.

Once when my mum was watching out the window, she could see Penny had unlatched the gate and was in the front yard eating the grass. She was going to eventually take her back in until my dad started driving up the road! Penny booked it back to the pasture, closed the gate behind her and hid behind the round-bale feeder.

Thanks so much everyone!! I went out and gave Pen a handful of grain and a sugar cube in celebration, and she was quite happy! I'm glad you all can appreciate her so much!!
