Update on my dad ....
Things are going from bad to worse. 
Now in addition to the infection and the high blood pressure, he has now been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and has to have oxygen at night. He HATES the idea, and probably will be stubborn and refuse to do it.
Also, we got his test results back. The doctor said his bloodwork shows signs of "prostate problems" - he didn't come right out and say cancer, but it was heavily implied. We have to get him in to see a specialist, ASAP. My friend's father died from prostate cancer a few months ago.
Also, my brother-in-law is was admitted to ICU yesterday, with severe pneumonia, that is not responding to treatment.
Bad things come in threes, my grandma used to say. I guess it's true.
