Dearest Crookie, what a sweet, beautiful kitty you are! And what a stunning story, about your stroke when you were very young and all the efforts your devoted Humans took to keep you alive and nurse you back to health. How wonderful that they discovered the magic taste and recuperative properties of pork fat, after your jaws were moistened with milk from a dropper! Clearly you all have been present for a miracle!

To Crookie's Humans: Thank you SO VERY MUCH for saving this delightful boy! God bless you all, human and feline.

Crookie, dear, we are so glad you survived and are doing so well now, keeping the garden squirrel-free and nestling down between your Purrrents in bed, just as you did when you were so ill and they were taking such good care of you.

It's so heartwarming to see the lengths people will go to to save their pets; thank you for being two of those people. I'm all teary after reading your amazing story of survival! What a brave, beautiful, courageous survivor you are! You truly are a miracle kitty, and we can't thank your parents enough for doing all in their power to save you, for never giving up on you! They, and you, are heroes in my book! Your baby picture brings tears to my eye, thinking of the challenges that awaited you. But oh, just look at you now, the very picture of contentment and good health! And I think your parents ought to bottle that miracle pork potion!
