If you start driving now, you might beat the storm up here ....

I am hoping we at least get enough to shovel, unlike anything we've ha since Halloween 2011!

My prodocuer, in Florida, is already panicking for me, and called me from his Florida backyard, saying the sky overhead was eerie and coming my way!

Yeah - I can be there in 8 hours or so - so I've got plenty of time. Got an extra bed and room for me and Myndi?? Oh - and I can pick up the other snow lover, momcat, on my way up too.

Drive carefully! I'm staying indoors today. Anyone with any sense would.

Attached is our temperature/wind chill. (Sorry, I can't seem to make it smaller).

We're getting hit with a storm that was not supposed to travel this far north, for once they predicted only the south would be getting it--- WRONG--- it's been snowing since early morning and still hasn't stopped. So much for our snowless winter. I have a dutch door on the barn and the snow is as high as the middle split...ugh... I'm sure if the snow keeps up it will reach the barn windows and cover them...-

I got my car washed yesterday, when it was 38F and sunny. It stayed clean for less than twelve hours. It's been raining almost all day and now it is snowing. So the word I'd use tonight is sloppy. It's 32F now and sloppy out. Yuk.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!

We've got another Alberta clipper (Candace, please keep them there!) right now, with about 3-4 inches of snow.

That's heading east to join up with the other storm traveling up the East Coast, which will produce that Nor'easter predicted later today for the northeast coast, in particular the Providence and Boston areas.

All you folks affected by this, please keep warm and safe! Prayers and best wishes that you all get through it safely.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
