Than a cat curled up in a spot of winter
Sunshine on a windowsill
Or an old dog sleeping
In the sunny spot on the floor,
Legs twitching in dreams of
Remembered puppyhood?
We tend to think peace is hard to find
But just look to the animals
Instead of politicians,
And there it is.
