Lots of chilly temps!! It's currently 26 here with a windchill of 18 degrees. We haven't had a white Christmas in ages, so I hope some of this snow sticks around till then but not sure if that will happen since we're due for a warm up and rain by the 21st.

Not so much today. It's in the upper 30s F so the snow is starting to melt. It's supposed to stay right above freezing over the weekend, with rain changing to freezing rain. Then the temps drop into single digits early next week. So it will be a cold Christmas around here.

24 degrees right now. Supposed to get about eight inches of snow starting tomorrow evening. Glad. I'm off Sunday. Will have to drive home from work in it. That makes me nervous since I havent had much experience with it. Took tjis pic theother day. Clouds were so spectacular I had to stop. Wind was blowing like crazy, blowing snow around. I'm so glad I stopped. This is one of my best, I think. I'm very happy with it.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    Beautiful photograph! Thank you!

A thunderstorm came through overnight with a cold front. 51F right now, cloudy and windy. They're saying low 40s overnight. Fall is definitely here.

Today was only 54°F at the highest - so "freezing!!!" in Paul's estimation! I am enjoying my first mug of hot tea for the season - that's really one of those signs of fall for me!

That, and that there are suddenly Chrysanthemums at the supermarket! I guess that's how city folks note the changing of the seasons!

It's 47F out tonight. They're predicting rain and wind with temps in the mid 40s tomorrow, but the wind might make it feel even colder. I remember Halloweens when I had to wear a heavy coat over my costume trick-or-treating.

We're having a heat wave! 34F (+1 C)! Seriously, it doesn't feel so harshly cold out today. It's supposed to be sunny tomorrow but not as warm, then back in the 30s again over the weekend - which is good because I'd really like to take my grimy car to the car wash.

Our weather in central NC is crazy up & down. Yesterday it was 38 high, today's high was 70 (normal would be 55), tomorrow 45 & dropping temps and tomorrow night we could have a freezing mix (sleet, fr rain, snow). Friday it is supposed to be in the 50's which is normal for here this time of year. Today's 70 felt so good!!
