I've Been Frosted
Thanks for the hug - sometimes I wonder how long I'm going to put up with where I work.
Anyway, there's a word that confuses me, so I think it's time for a vowel. Could I have an A please?
GO RAVENS!!
Not confident about a couple of spots. May I try W, please.

"That's the power of kittens (and puppies too, of course): They can reduce us to quivering masses of Jell-O in about two seconds flat and make us like it. Good thing they don't have opposable thumbs or they'd surely have taken over the world by now." -- Paul Lukas
"We consume our tomorrows fretting about our yesterdays." -- Persius, first century Roman poet

Both, I think, were key choices!

I'll take the P, please.
And actually, I'd like to solve ...PM to follow ...
Yes, you got it! Would you host the next puzzle?
The solution is:
Cats don't use hours and seconds. We know that's something humans made up. Cats have an instinct that tells us exactly what the right time for everything is. Humans never know when they're supposed to do anything, so they need things like clocks and timers to tell them. Twice a year, Sarah sets all the clocks in our apartment forward one hour or back one hour, and that just proves how made up hours are.

It's a fun book, a novel written from Prudence the cat's perspective! I got to interview Gwen on the radio show this week!
