What an adorable bundle of furry love you are! Your thick, fluffy coat is gorgeous, and I'll bet it keeps you nice and warm during those long, cold Norwegian winters, too! At first I too thought you might be a Pomeranian! But no, you're a Spitz, and a beautiful one at that! You have some mighty big paw prints to fill, being named after the Norse god of light, joy, purity, beauty, innocence, and reconciliation. But by all accounts you're more than living up to your namesake, bringing so much light and happiness, joy and comfort to all you meet, including other doggies! You truly are one very special boy, Balder, and your person so very lucky to have a "shadow," a best friend and loving companion, in you!
