If I remember correctly, Stephen King wrote a story about a laundry machine that killed people because a virgin cut herself and bled on it. She put a hex on the darned thing.

There was a lot more involved in the "laundry machine" story than someone bleeding on it, including belladonna and other steps, before the machine turned lethal.

LOL, there's an old joke about making breakfast, especially frying bacon, in the nude.

I always laugh and picture someone buck naked, wearing an apron with a fork in hand, diligently frying pork products.
