    Good morning, Duke, handsome guy! About those eyes - yes, I think it's your blue eyes, plus your happy smile and all the rest of you! And you are smart, too, making friends with people and learning all sorts of new skills. I'm with LHCam - very glad I got to meet you today! I bet you bring loads of smiles and joy to the tourists as t hey visit Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweet blue-eyes Duke!

    Oh yes, the eyes definitely have it...especially yours! My beloved Cody was a Husky x Shep with the same gorgeous red coat and beautiful blue eyes as yours, and like you, she captivated everyone she met, like you do all of your adoring fans in that lovely fishing/tourist town! I'll bet you're a bigger attraction than the salmon! I can't imagine a more perfect setting for an energy packed Husky than cold and snowy Alaska (much of the time), and lucky you, you also have the proudest, most devoted of forever humans as well! Ahhh, life is good!
    You truly are one extra special boy, Duke; so beautiful, so smart, so loyal and loving! Your person is one very lucky guy or lady, having a best friend for life, in you!
    Hope you're enjoying your much deserved day in the spotlight, sweetheart, being treated to all your big heart desires, and then some!

    I was lucky enough to have had a Shep/Husky mix myself & know they can be great

    Well, I just love every little thing about Duke, he's an amazing DOTD! But his eyes are definately killer! Please give him a smooch and a cuddle from me, could never get enough of lookin' at the Dukester!! Peace and love Love his magnificent coat too!
