    Hi, Trixie, cutie! You became a special birthday gift and friend to your young person! I laughed when I read about you hiding your bone in different places and doing your Trixie happy-dance! Your coat looks so soft to pet- I hope your person will give you some extra petting and hugs from me today. Happy Dog of the Day to you, pretty girl Trixie!

    Hello Trixie, it's a pleasure to meet such a sweet patient lovely girl. Wow! It sounds as if you and your human were waiting for each other; what a perfect match! I am so glad you ended up with your present family because you all loved her even when she wasnt officially yours. Sometimes things do work out for the best in a good way. I can tell from the writeup that your human loves you very much and that you filled a void in her life (I'm assuming your human is a female). My best to both of you and Congrats on being DOTD!

    Happy Dog of the Day to you, darling Trixie! What a beautiful little girl you are, Trixie, in looks and in heart; an angel in a furry coat heaven sent from above (with a little help from Rerun!) Like your person, I too believe that your beloved predecessor had a paw in bringing you and your very special human together, answering her/his prayer! And no doubt today he's looking down on you both from the Rainbow Bridge, so comforted knowing his beloved family member is smiling and laughing once again! Heart stealer, heart healer, life changer; the best birthday gift a human could ever for! You're all that and so much more, Trixie, and your young person so very blessed to have a loyal and loving best friend for life, a soul mate in you!

    Trixie - I sure can't imaging why you were chasing after your present owner's van, or why your first family decided to sell you, but you certainly came out the winner in the end. You have a family that adores all your silly antics - that's the ShihTzu in you! - and will love and care for you for life. It doesn't get much better than that, does it cutie!!!

    We hope you're having an extra special day today, as top dog here in PT Land. Congratulations on being DOTD.
