Hello Dexter in Australia, What a handsome fella you are! No wonder your human loves to take photos of you; you are absolutely striking in color and appearance--very nice looking horse. I enjoyed reading about you and hope you have many more years together. Congrats on being POTD!

This is Dexter! Dex is a Clydesdale x Arab gelding who currently stands at 16.2hh (that's 167.64 centimetres tall). He gets his height and slightly heavier bones from the Clydesdale side, but has a more slender build and lighter gait from his Arabian side. His color is bay and white with a tobiano coat pattern and he has one blue and one brown eye. Dex has been to one show in which he was awarded a Reserve Champion. We have attended pony club a few times and enjoy riding in the paddock and out on the roads around Warwick, Australia. I am a photographer and Dexter is one of my most photographed subjects! His coloring gets attention wherever he goes, and as you can see, he poses nicely when he sees the camera come out - well, most of the time! I sure love him!

You and I are the same height -- five feet and six inches I agree with everything that has already been written -- you are gorgeous, handsome and striking, and I love your eyes and your tobiano coat! Your coloring is so interesting to look at, I keep scrolling up and down to enjoy your pictures. The camera sure likes you! Hi Dexter from Down Under! Happy Pet of the Day to you and your lovely young lady!

What a beautiful, simply stunning Clydesdale/Arabian you are! Your flowing white mane and tail, that fetching forelock, are the perfect aceents to your gorgeous coat and coloring...tobian and bay! (I just learned something new) But oh my gosh...those incredible eyes, those lashes! Just recently I learned that horses can have blue eyes, but before you I'd never met one with bi-colored eyes! Stunning, as is that close-up! And in your action shot I can see better your heavier boned Clydesdale side, but it's clear you have the grace of an Arabian! What a beautiful blend of breeds you are, equally as beautiful in heart and body! What a lucky soul your lady is, having a best friend and companion in you, Dexter, not to mention a subject as photogenic as you for her stunning photography! What a terrific team you two make, in and out of the show ring, and I hope for you and for her, many, many more wonderful years together!

You are quite handsome, Dexter! Your coloring is what twe call a Paint here in USA. I like that you are half draft breed . . . nice and husky, but with the agility and grace of your Arabian other half. Surely you will win many ribbons in the show ring, and I like your one blue eye and the few brown tail hairs . . . you are very special.
