Barbara, you are so right - I work with a lot of young people, so I see a lot of the piercings, tattoos, crazy hair, etc. It's just a way of expressing themselves, I guess, and some of them are really hard workers and great kids! That said, however, MY 15-year-old is still FORBIDDEN to get piercings or tattoos while living under my roof - I'm just too conservative, and I really think it's something you'll regret later in life. Hair can grow back, so I don't care what she does with that, but tattoos and piercings leave scars. So far she's pretty conservative too, and not at all interested in that stuff.
