I'm not sure why you thought "if PB was good meat would be better" I got confused on that part. The fact that he didn't chow down on them suggests to me that the meat source is rather yucky, lol.

I tried to BBQ peanut butter once and it fell thru the grill?

I thought that the meat flavored snacks would be more to his liking. I forgot to mention that he was into the 'meat' ones at first, then he started to carry them to his blankie/pillow and ignoring them. So, I started to play with him - making him work for a treat - and he hasn't failed in eating them as soon as he gets them.
