Hey Barkeep, we're headed out to your former stomping grounds (generally, not specifically), so we'll be toasting long distance after Friday. First stop - San Juan Capistrano...can anyone figure out who we're stopping to see?

Have a great couple of weeks, y'all! Cheers to the 500!

I immediately thought "the swallows", but after reading further along, I guess I'm wrong again!!!

    Have a wonderful trip, Maggie.

    Happy Friday. Coffee anyone?

The San Onofre containment vessels in the background...

I'll pour some cafe.....how's about some nice rye toast with real butter?

    -----------

Oh, tonight is a Harvest moon, so maybe we'll put out the telescope for a peek?

Hmmmm. I do believe the containment vessels at San Onofre that Richard likes looking at, are the ones in the left-front of that photo. They are turquoise in color. Waddaya think??

I'll have a white wine please, if anyone is going to join me. I hate to drink alone.

I'll have some chai while you have wine! Sadly, no use getting out the telescope around here, rain clouds are obscuring the moon and everything else!

    LOL,

The HUGE vessels are right on the ocean between the water and the 5 freeway. Kinda creepy when you really think about it being so close to a main throughfare.

One white wine? I'll join you!

    Done!

Well, chinese food and Sam Adams all around!

We can do without the dead cat, though.

Yes, a change of palette. All our grey girlies are now gone, but they did have lovely long lives and got to all stay together which was nice. We now have Oscar, a black velvety kitty, and two new ginger girls who have yet to be properly introduced to PT. Thread coming up soon ...

Don't worry, the pits will be open.

There is a great commercial on ESPN where they make fun of NASCAR drivers urinating in their suits.......

    Chai?

    DONE!

    PM,

I stomped all over Southern California, home was farther north.

You aren't going to see San Onofre? I'm not a fan of nuclear reactors but think the containment structures were designed by a man for 15 year old's imagination.

    Have fun. Wine?

    Done!
