Don't panic. I have a friend who's cat is on the ear medication and over time, she has been able to reduce the dose to once a week, on the ear. The cat doesn't pee anywhere but does rip its fur out! Psycho cat I guess. Anyway, the un-pillable cat now has the cream put on its ear once a week and it runs like $20 a month or so. Not too bad. They did start out with many applications per week though. Then they weaned her to the one.
