70 lb doxie put on diet

This makes me so sad. How did he walk????

Dachshunds will eat until they explode. My RB doxie Max got up to 29 lbs. The vet almost fainted. We had been free feeding at the time, but that stopped. We put him on a strict diet and over the course of a year he lost 11 lbs. Up until he passed, he stayed at that weight and was happy.
