Hi Murphy, it's a pleasure to meet you. You sure look as if you are a good natured fella plus you're a handsome dog. I am so glad you were adopted out of the shelter. No doubt you have a wonderful life and have for several years with your loving family. I enjoyed the photos and smiled when I saw some type of ball in each photo. I hope you have many more years with your family. Congrats on being DOTD!

What a hunky handsome boy you are, Murphy, one beautiful blend of two beloved breeds! (We don't see many Irish Setters these days, sadly!) At first glance (your thumbnail) I thought you were all Chessie! But after viewing you "life size," I could see your Irish side shining through in that sweet, love filled face! It boggles my mind to think that a dog as beautiful as you, at age 4, found himself in need of a home, wiling away the hours in that shelter just waiting for that special family to come along and spring you! But no surprise to learn how handily you won over your humans; that shy and demure possum approach works every time!
And once home, it didn't take long before your joyful, life loving, energetic personality broke through, and the rest, as they, is history!
What a big, happy, love filled family of assorted humans and furry ones is yours, Murphy! You hit the forever family jackpot in them, and they couldn't have hoped for a sweeter, more loving best friend and loving companion than you! What a perfect match, what cherished memories you'll be making over the many years to come!
