From what I know..my brother used to breed & keep snakes, 80 is only slightly on the warm side. 70 which is 21°C is rather cool my brother said 75 would be more ideal. My brother also said you can turn down the heating pad or if it only has on and off then turn it off for the hottest part of the day (between 10 am-2 pm). He also said to make sure she has water available to soak it cause that will help her if she gets too warm.
