Obviously, Chow Chows have blue tongues. But, I have a friend who has had full bred German Shephards and she says that can have blue on their tongue as well. By the way, I would have guessed the Chow to bite the most since it was bred to be a fighting dog and never a Golden Retriever. My dog is part Chow and mostly Border Collie and never bites anyone, but she can static jump 4 feet into the air!! She has a spotted toungue and gums -- she looks like she got into the licorice jar.
