I don't bother with "unsubscribe" either. I think they just sell those lists to other spammers too. Google catches just about all of the junk and sends it to the spam folder, so it's never in my inbox anyway, and I can delete the whole spam folder at once with just one click without even having to read the junk. I just scan thru the subjects to make sure no legit mail got sent there by mistake before I do.

Luckily I do not get spam much at all anymore. But for a while I was getting emails (at work ) from supposedly young ladies who are lonely and want me to look at naked pictures of them. And I got the UPS ones for a while too. I never order anything to be coming to me UPS so I knew that was a scam. And of course I got the Viagra ads too.
I still get junk at work, but it's more work realted junk mail (if that makes sense).
I don't waste time unsubscribing, I just delete without opening.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Aside from the..ahem...enhancement spam I've been getting heaps from "Youtube" and "Amazon". I did inform Amazon and this phishing is well-known. I didn't bother with Youtube since I don't have an account so know those are bogus. I'm getting loads of what I call "1-800-baddrug" spam, too.

I get the ED ones and also the hot women looking for love, the order medicine online and all the rest.. When I was working I would get home after being gone 28 days and have thousands of them!

Oh, and I get a ton of spam claiming to be from PayPal. It always pays to check the headers.

And don;t spammers know I'm not gonna fall for anything if they misspell words in the subject line?

I get the PayPal ones too - and I just forward them to [email protected], as PP requests.

I also get a lot from Bank of America and Wells Fargo saying my account is limited/frozen until I go to the provided link and update my info. That's strange - I've NEVER had an account with either. I don't get the UPS ones, but I'm forever getting ones from Western Union - "Dear Account Holder" - blah-blah-blah - update your account. Never used them either....................

And mis-spell in the subject line - yeah - dead give-away. Almost as bad as being addressed to "Undisclosed Recipients".

I learned the names of many banks from spammers - I thought "First Third Bank" had to be made up until I got a bunch of spam listing it - and then found out it was real. The dead giveaway for me is when pet, Karen, and help all get the same email - and I never give any of those email addresses to banks!

I get popup offers all the time from Match.com.. men, women, choose your 10-year age range, different neighborhoods mostly around metro-Detroit, but I have gotten offers from Cleveland, too..

So many choices, how can I ever decide?!
