Poor baby! I am so sorry he went through that but now he is HOME!! I don't understand why the people didn't bring him back before it effected him that bad..

You have no need to feel guilty; you did what seemed the best for Spike, and it's not your fault that it didn't work out. With all the love with which you're surrounding him, he *will* recover.
