What a brave and beautiful Paint you are, Valentine. Your ability to bounce back, to learn to love and trust again after suffering the most unspeakable abuse and neglect at the hands of so many humans, is truly inspirational!
Thankfully those horrible times are quickly fading from memory, now that you are in the loving care of a truly devoted and responsible guardian, one who will love and respect you for the magnificent creature that you are, all the days of your life! I'm sure it will take some time before your heart and spirit are fully healed, but there's no doubt you are well on your way! (Just look at that lovely "bow!") As we so often say here, echoing your guardian's words, we learn so much fror our animal companions about the meaning of life; devoted friendship, commitment and faith, and in you your person has the best teacher of all! What wonderful times you two will be sharing over the years to come, in and out of the show ring!
