    Thanks again for emailing me. I'm sorry for your loss, but I know you made the right decision for him. I love the pic of him and O.C. How much fun they must be having together being reunited and whole again at the bridge. Sherbie, play hard and have fun.

    Thank you Amy. I know how much you liked my little guy.

    I do believe that he paid me a visit this morning. I was sitting on the back porch while the pups were out nosing around the yard, and I heard a noise behind me. One of the 4x4 uprights to the top railing was his official scratching post, and it is very deeply grooved from his 9 years of scratching on it. I heard what sounded like him scratching his claws and turned around to look, and of course nothing was there. I turned my attention back to the pups and what they were doing, and I heard it again, but of course, still nothing there. One more time he did it, and then it stopped. Yup - I definitely believe it was him.

    yes that was sherbie scratching his post he is letting you know that he is ok at the rainbow bridge.. he misses you too and even when you took him in for him to get his wings it somethimes is a hard deceison to make because we love them so much and dont want to let them go.. you did the best thing for him so he could have his wings and he is watching over you.. 20120708.1511
