    Hi Ladd! Happy Dog of the Day to you, sweetheart!
    What a beautiful tribute to one beautiful (inside and out) Sheltie boy! I was so moved by your story, Ladd, reading of the very special bond you and your daddy shared! How blessed he was to have had you, his constant companion, his loyal and loving best friend, there by his side those many years; what a team!

    I can only imagine how hard it was for you and your daddy to be separated for even a day, and so we give great thanks to your extended family for taking you on those visits to the Veteran's home! I'm sure your visits; seeing your beautiful face, being able to stroke that gorgeous coat, and share some guy to guy chat, meant the world to him! And the joy and smiles you brought to all of the other veterans at the home, the joy and smiles you continue to bring to your extended family, a priceless gift! What a good boy you are indeed, Ladd, the BEST!

    Thanks to your family for sharing your very touching, inspirational story with us all, sweetheart! Enjoy your well earned your big day in the spotlight, celebrating with your wonderful human family, and fursibs Jaz and Raven, and here's to many, many more happy years of shared love and friendship for you all!

    Hello Ladd, What a handsome boy you are! From the writeup I think you are very smart and sweet also. I am sure your first human loved you very much. No doubt your present family loves you and takes great care of you. I enjoyed your photos--such a beautiful dog you are. I hope all of you have many more years together. Congrats on being DOTD!
