As a child I had a kitty (Sneakers) who would try to follow me to school, just as you do! I'm sure your young person (if not the Vicar), much appreciates the devotion! Bless your wonderful family for choosing rescue, giving one very deserving kitty a second chance at happiness, and what a wonderful life it is!
