I just got off the phone with K9Karen - and read her this thread! She said "Tell everyone thanks, and I miss everyone!" She is doing much better, still cannot see well, but has an appointment coming up with the eye doctor, and will let us know what he says. He back is healing, and she can now stand up straight and everything. The funny thing is, she was happiest about the fact that I told her the things I can now eat again! She was just beaming at that news, and already plotting what she can send me that I can now eat!
