She's much better now; back to normal, even though she's no longer on pain meds. The heatwave is over, it's actually cold over here, and she seems to like this better. And I really hope her back pain was just a temporary thing. Maybe she hurt herself when Lily jumped onto her back (she does that all the time.)

She's still fine; played with her "kitty light" (laser pointer) today, and didn't show any signs of pain.
I took a picture of her when she was watching the red spot of the laser pointer, and I think she has the cutest face here:
