pomtzu, Alysser and phesina, thanks a lot for saying that. I have to admit, I would very much like to do such things; maybe starting with a few jobs and then saving the money for a better equipment and doing the more progressed stuff... but I would never be able to do this due to my poor health. I just wouldn't be reliable; there are too many days when I feel so bad that I cannot go anywhere. I'm really sad about it, sometimes I think I'm wasting a talent. But that's the way it is...

Maybe you could try with pet photos, for example, and set an appointment, but explain that you may need to reschedule and would call that morning to let them know, and promise a 10% discount if you have to reschedule? Might be a way to get started ...

Well, yes, it might work this way... However, pet photography is really difficult (not with Luna and Lily of course, as they're trained lol).

I interviewed a pet photographer last week, and he said there are two keys to it 1) patience in waiting for the right moment, and 2) having a variety of sounds, toys, etc. to catch and keep the pet's interest!

I not only thoroughly enjoy seeing your awesome photography, I look forward to coming here to find you've posted more pictures. This is a step outside the box for you with models and you have once again succeded! Why am I not surprised? Kirsten, you've done it again!

    Thank you, Laura and momcat!

Karen, yes, I think patience is the key... but I saw an article on a pet photographer a while ago, and he also brought his studio settings with him; backgrounds, deco pieces etc. Not everyone has a beautifully designed home which makes a nice setting for the pictures. I think that job requires a lot of equipment.
