I was mom to a diabetic "sugar kitty." And like you, Mauro, he took his injections like a trooper, never making a fuss. It's as if he knew I was only helping him, as I'm sure is just how you feel when you get your insulin! My Buddy was diagnosed in his early teens, and lived to be 21!!! So your person has every reason to believe that you and she/he will be together for many, many more years to come! That is my wish for you!
As your person says, our rescues show us each and every day, in so many ways, jut how grateful they are for having been rescued, and we in turn are so thankful to your human for going the rescue route! The reward of your unconditional love is a priceless gift!
