You truly are a fighter and a survivor, and your rags to riches story truly an inspiration to us all! That look of innocence on your sweet face, the love in your eyes, could melt the hardest and coldest of hearts, and it breaks my heart to think that any sentient being could ever mistreat you! You suffered so horribly in your former life, and no one would blame you one bit if you never chose to love and trust again. But thankfully you found your way to Grey rescue, to a forever family with nothing but love in their hearts; devoted humans willing to give you all the space and time you needed to settle into your new life. You've come such a long way on your road to recovery, Ziggy, those miserable days fading slowly from memory. And while a few of those emotional scars still remain, I have no doubt that with time, with the the love and support of your family, you will grow even more confident...stronger every day! But for now, enjoy your well earned retirement...that soft, comfy couch, the friendship of your Grey buddies, and the unconditional love of your humans!
