Some more test shots I made today, near a little pond in the forest. Wanted to try some different things..
Of course, photos like these dragonfly pictures should have been taken with a macro lens. However, for my 60mm 1:1 macro lens, I would have to be very close, and they would escape before I could even get my camera ready! But I was pleased to see that the tele lens did a fairly good job here:
These ducks were about 50 metres away, and I was surprised how clear they still are. My old lens couldn't have done that, especially the black and white contrasts in the male duck would have been completely messed up!
This little bird was so greedy that it caught not one, but two of these little damselflies!
