Willa, You are a gorgeous lady although a bit stubborn. I'm glad your meowmie was able to get you in the carrier. You have a wonderful forever home now.

Congratulations and have a wonderful time as Cat of the Day!

    Wonderful for sure!

I have a special fondness for black and tuxedo cats, especially older ones. One mature tuxedo gentleman who I helped rescue some years ago is now happily ensconced as king of his household, which also happens to be a business office; he is an excellent paperweight as well as serving to greet guests. Then there's the nearly completely black old puss (now age 15) who is expert at coaxing me out of bed and sending me off to work with a smile. Kittens have their special innocent charm, but a wise old mellow cat is an excellent antidote to stress. If everyone had a Willa in his or her life, the world would be a much happier place.

Good Morning lovely Willa! What a beautiful sleek and shiny coat you have. It is very heart warming to read about older kitties being adopted. Even if you do have to get into that big scary box thing for carrying, it's worth it! And speaking of warming, is that a heater your lying next too? I have to say you could be a twin to my RB tuxie boy Buddy. That makes you even more specialer. Will-a you have a Happy COTD for us? I know you Will-a! Happy COTD Willa!

    Lovely, winsome Willow!

Greetings beautiful Willa! Happy Cat of the Day to you, sweetheart! I can't imagine a more perfect ambassador for "older" kitty adoption than you, Willa! After meeting you, reading your heart warming story, I have no doubt that many will be following your Mommy's sage advice, fulfilling your wish for adopters to choose the adult kitty rescue route! As has been said, you took your time choosing that "just right" forever family! But as the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait! And who can blame you for resisting being stuffed into that kitty port-o-prison! But I'm sure you would agree even that affront to your dignity was well worth the final destination!
Thank you, sweet Tuxie girl, for ending my day with a BIG smile! I hope you're enjoying your much deserved day of honor, and here's to many, many more wonderful years of shared love and devoted companionship for you and your family!
Love and cuddles and kisses to you, beautiful Willa!

Hello Willa, it's a pleasure to meet you! You look so young for 15 years and your pictures are very striking. I enjoyed reading about you and am glad you've had a good home for several years. I hope you and your family have many more years together. Congrats on being COTD!
