I'm so very sorry to hear of your diagnosis, sweetheart, and hope and pray this finds you doing well, that you are able to enjoy a very happy day of celebration with your devoted family! I will be keeping you in my prayers, hoping for a miracle recovery. But despite your health challenges you still continue to enjoy and revel in every minute of your wonderful life, not letting anything get you down! You truly are one handsome boy (oh, those eyes)!!! But for me, it's your joyful and life loving personality that sets you paws above the rest! Your energy and optimism are truly an inspiration! Then again, that's an Aussie for you! How very lucky your family has been, knowing your unconditional love, your devotion, your indomitable spirit these many years, Skye, and we give them great thanks for choosing adoption, giving one very deserving boy a 2nd chance at life! How well their caring and compassion have been rewarded!

I felt compelled to congratulate you on being our extra special DOTD. My Rainbow Bridge cat, Schuyler (he was COTD) had one blue eye, just like you! It is nice that the neighborhood doggies come to play and keep your spirits up. Hoping you will enjoy many more years with your devoted family, and it was a pleasure to read about and see you, beautiful Skye!
