Chico - you are a stunning boy! And your friend Buttons is a cutie! I'm so glad that you are a happy indoor kitty too...especially since someone from your previous life had you declawed...how awful!

That picture of you and Buttons is priceless. Buttons seems to be saying 'Puh - lease! Can't a kitty get a nap?'

I think you'll be okay without front claws, my RB girl Petey didn't have front claws and she would lull you in close to show you her big TEETH

if you did something she didn't like!

That was the toughest cat in the world and 10 lbs soaking wet, but she loved me to pieces and I loved her more. Happy COTD Chico and give Buttons the Body Guard a head bumpy for me!

Hi Chico! A very happy Cat of the Day to you, beautiful boy!

It's not often we get a "Snowshoe" as our featured honoree, so it was an extra special treat to click on COTD and see your gorgeous, blue eyed self up on my screen!
However you came to find yourself homeless is beyond me, sweetheart. But happily that "just right" forever human walked into the shelter that fateful day, and oh, what an exquisite choice you made in a forever family!

I'm so glad you're finally in the loving arms of a devoted and family of devoted humans and furry friends, a home where forever and always you will be safe, cared for, and LOVED unconditionally for the very special boy that you are!

about chico.. i dont think he was dumped somewhere i think he escaped when he wasnt supposed to. chico enjoys all the attention for being cat of the day... he misses his front claws and seems to know he cant go outside.. i have a windows with a screen in it and he sits there alot and enjoys the fresh air coming in.. he is hard to pickup because he is so heavy.. he is kinda chubby and lays around alot.. he plays with buttons and salmon and peaches kitty gets him going by batting with his paws at him.. he is lucky to get picked up by someone caring enough to be concerned about him with out his claws he is very beautiful and when he looks at you when i sit on the couch by the windows the inside of his eye is red.. i have never seen a cat with red inner eyes before and that is very unuseral .. his big blue eys with middle red.... he likes to jumps into my laps and in the morning he wakes me up by sitting by my head in bed and purrs alot.. he has a soft voice and doesnt talk much but he sure knows how to purr.. it was my pleasure to share chico's love with you today as honour of cotd here on the internet.. this is a day he will not forget for a while.. i keep telling chico that he is cotd and he seems honoured by all the excitment about it.. have a nice day today and tomarrow and forever dear chico.... pat n diane 20120519.1938

I was absolutely amazed when I saw your cat here today!! HE is the spitting image of my best friend Cyrus who died about a year ago at age 20. I am saving Chico's photos as they remind me so much of the best kitty friend I have ever had. Hope you get to enjoy Chico for as many years as I did my Cyrus.
