Tears came to my eyes as I read Pierre's story. The fact that he survived his jump and the complications afterwards to see 13 years old is amazing. What a beautiful sweet lil' dog...

Thank you so much for the kind words and yes he would have been 13, May 6th. We feel so honored to have had him so long, he was always healthy and was up til that point. We called him the Bestes' One because he was. The day I brought him home from the pet store he was instantly housebroken. We never had to scold him over making mistakes on the floor, he was very smart and knew when he needed to go. Later in life only when he was sick did he make a mistake, but only if he was sick, which was few and far between. We felt so lucky to have a dog that was so smart and always made us feel he was grateful for our love. What a sweet humble little guy he was.
