My first dog was a beagle/dauchsand mix and she has been gone for about 26 years. I still have pictures of her around and very fond memories. My first Golden has been gone since 1982 and I talk about her all the time. She was 13 1/2 when she passed.

So... Is it normal after 3 years? Yes it is. You will find the tears are less and the memories are sweeter as time goes on!
