Oh my goodness! I checked Phoenix out earlier in the day but did not have a chance to sit down and write anything yet. When I saw that first picture I thought to myself...WOW...that is one beautiful black cat.

I am very saddened whenever I hear about animal abuse. How could anyone hurt that gorgeous girl?!?

However, I am glad she has a good ending.

She knew from the minute she came to live with you that she was safe but she wasn't taking any chances. Purring is one of the best sounds!

I keep looking back at that first picture. Breathtaking.

Despite the horrific abuse you suffered at the hands of your former "people," you still are able to love and trust. That is truly miraculous!
