I've lived in Oregon for almost 4 years and had never gone to the coast, at least not as an adult. When I was a kid, my parents took a road trip to Seattle and we stopped at a beach in Oregon. I remembered that it was very pretty and that I felt at peace there. I always wanted to go back but until now, never had the opportunity. I find it especially neat that my first trip back was on my 30th birthday. I am for sure figuring out a way to go back when the weather is a bit warmer so I can get some swimming time in!
