Great cat, Great human and Great write up! I too am so grateful to shelters and shelter workers who never give up hope that their long term residents might find a happy furrever home someday. I am grateful to you (Winona's mom) for giving her an amazingly happy furrever home where she gets to chase her storms from the safety of an open window My Moon LOVES having his low back patted "hard" and will chirp, meow (with his one remaining eye tooth showing) and even play bite my hand. He waits for TV time every night so he can assume his position on my lap. We think he is around 13 so he and Winona sound like soulmates.
