What an honor it is, having a seasoned citizen, a bunny as brave and beautiful as you as today's honoree!
My heart broke, reading of the unspeakable abuse you suffered at the hand of a heartless human. Thanks goodness you were able to summon the courage to hang on until your rescuers could find you, until the vets could give you the urgent care you needed, and we give great thanks to all who helped to make your rescue possible, your happy ending a reality! What a fighter you are to have survived such neglect, Thistle. Your indomitable spirit, your amazing ability to learn to love and trust again after such unconscionable neglect, is an inspirational to us all! You are a hero in my book, Thistle...your forever family, too! How blessed you are to have one another, and I wish for you and your wonderful family, many more happy years of shared love and companionship!

I hope you're enjoying your special day of honor, sweetheart; celebrating with your furry sib Katanga, munching on greens and treats and being loved to the max! Cuddles and kisses to you, precious Thistle, and to dear Katanga, too!

Re: the person who commented on her cute little ears..they ARE cute...although sadly just before I got her someone had cut them off with scissores which is why they are short. I hope she remembers nothing of her prevous life. She is getting extra treats and cuddles for being pet of the day
