She kind rolls her eyes and probably thinks, "I know what goes on here....I grew up in the state/area."

I thought I would miss CA a great deal more than I do. Here, it's magic to me. There are things to see every day, Things to hear, things that make me wonder.

I think some toads did meet their maker here in KY last night.
The rain was so hard, it looked like the roof of the garage had a grey cover about 8 inches thick on it, that is how hard the rain bounced off the shingles.
I have to say that I will never, ever get tired of thunder or lightning.
I guess it's the idea a loud noises and things getting blown up?
